The goal of PULSAR is to regularly bring together an eclectic mix of different, yet equally modern electronic dance music styles, into a united environment where many styles can be discovered, thrive, and be appreciated. In each edition of PULSAR, one can expect new and exciting sets from PULSAR residents; along with rotating guest DJ spots from the most promising up and coming, as well as long established DJ's in the scene.

Pulsar is a collective of DJs, producers, musicians, artists, and music enthusiasts based in beautiful southern California!  Pulsar began organizing unique musical gatherings in 2010, and has made a mission out of continual progression towards richer and more productive musical gatherings.

The Pulsar Story:

Pulsar began in July 2010 organizing small scale, (about) monthly gatherings at a small neighborhood bar (Stubby's Bar), in Rowland Heights, CA.  In August 2011, after 1-year of organization, the regular series of Pulsar events moved to its new, and current home, Luxy101 in the city of Industry.  Also in August 2011, Pulsar organized its first outdoor gathering; Atomic Fields 2 in the Mojave Desert!  Later in 2011, Pulsar decided to try a new style of events; unleashing "Pulsar Progressions" to a whole new audience in Los Angeles.  As we enter 2012 and beyond, the focus of Pulsar will remain firmly rooted in its original intent, while allowing room for growth and new opportunities.  The regular events at Luxy101 continue, while efforts are being made towards larger community gatherings including Pulsar's second outdoor gathering; Nebula, taking place March 3rd-4th, 2012.  Stay tuned for further news and developments from the organizers and artists behind Pulsar!
